The Department of Animal Nutrition is one of the promising departments of the College. To offer undergraduate education and transfer of reasonable technologies in the area of animal nutrition are the basic responsibilities. Beside the courses, the undergraduate students also get the opportunity to “learn by doing” of hay making, silage preparation, urea ammoniated straw preparation etc. The information about feeding practices in Rajasthan and current techniques used in feed industry is accessed through frequent field and farm visits to broaden the spectra of learning.
