R.R. College of Veterinary & Animal Science

1. The candidate must have attained or will attain the minimum age of 17 years and maximum age of 25 years on or before 31st December of that year.

2. There shall be relaxation of maximum age by 5 years for scheduled caste or scheduled tribes or other backward class candidates.

3. A candidate under general category for admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary and Animal Science Degree course shall have to qualify in each of the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized/ approved board of School examinations and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects.

4. In respect of candidates belonging to the scheduled caste or the scheduled tribes or other special categories of students as specified by the Govt. from time to time, much required for admission shall be 5% less than that prescribed for general category i.e., 47.5%.

5. In case result of the qualifying admission has been declared publicly but the certificate has not been issued by the concerned Board/University, such candidates shall have to produce a certificate (Annexure 1) from the Head of the Institution last attended.

6. Candidates appearing/ appeared in the qualifying exam i.e., Senior Secondary or its equivalent recognized examination in that year and whose result has not been declared by the last date of submission of Admission Form may also apply but they shall not be eligible for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. course if they, at the time of counselling, do not produce documentary proof of passing qualifying exam with the required percentage of marks as applicable to them.

NEET (UG)/ RPVT-2022

7. All the candidates seeking admission to the B.V.Sc & A.H. Degree Programme must appear in the NEET-2022 (UG)/ RPVT. Same marks in the NEET-2022 (UG) or otherwise– in case of two or more candidates scoring same marks in the NEET-2022 (UG)/ RPVT, the merit would be decided on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology of 10+2 examinations. If still, there is a tie then the candidate senior in age will be considered higher in the merit.
